Beautiful Photos of Wild American Horses by Carol Walker

Carol Walker from Longmont, Colorado, began photographing wild horses nine years ago. Following several herds in Wyoming, Colorado and Montana, she became aware of how precarious their situation on public lands has become. Since then, she’s dedicated herself to educating people about wild horses through her photographs and stories. She’s published a book called Wild Hoofbeats: America’s Vanishing Wild Horses, and uses the sales of her artwork to fund efforts to help keep America’s horses wild and free.
