Haunted Houses by Corinne May Botz
- By: Nate Kay
For seven years, Corinne May Botz searched for ghost stories in single-family homes, apartment buildings, hotels, prisons, museums, restaurants and many other places. Exquisitely photographed, Haunted Houses reveals a rare glimpse into 80 haunted buildings and the lives of those who lived through the creaking floors, apparitions, mysteriously burning candles and cries in the night.
I’m a big fan of photographing old buildings, spooky places, and abandoned houses. Not only does this book present some amazing photography of all of these, but the author/photographer does a superb job telling the haunted stories behind the photos. With over 200 pages of inspiring pictures and incredible stories, photographers and non-photographers alike will love this book. This is not something you want to keep on the shelf after reading it, but out on the coffee table in the living room for all to enjoy.
