Carly Moon-Warnick is a Canadian photographer living in England. Her most remarkable works include one of the cutest newborn babies’ sessions and stunning pregnancy sessions and weddings. That’s how she has been making her money so far.
But her hobby is to travel. Travel and shoot everything she sees. She even confessed on her Facebook profile that she’d be able to leave everything she does behind and become a travel photographer, if she was offered such a job.
And one day, she received a mysterious ticket to an unknown location for her first travel photography assignment…
Time for Changes
A website is a really important tool for a photographer, she always knew that. Along with her social media profiles, she had an easy and nice website. Carly was offered the trip worth from $450 to $2,000, according to the Secret Getaway Travels website. She spent 3 days as a professional brand ambassador in Grindelwald, Switzerland. Thanks to that partnership, her works reached over 2,000 new Facebook users – including the fans of Secret Getaway Travels, followers that commented on the post about the special competition, their friends, and people who saw the sponsored post about the competition.
During the trip, Carly took professional photos and videos, and did a live stream on her Facebook page – and this kind of job, you have to admit that, is far from boredom. She posted photos and videos on her social media accounts, but mostly… she was purely living her life there.
Now, the Doors are Open
The trip was short, but it changed her life as a photographer. The new, professional website, which showed her as an expert of travel photography, just a few weeks after she created it, gave her that opportunity. This offer opened the door for another amazing adventures she’ll have with her camera all over the world.
