Life in Black & White by Peter Levi
- By: Guest Author
Peter Levi uses an artistic documentary style in his street photography. “The kind of photography that always inspired me was the work of famous documentary/reportage photographers,” he says. “I loved how they made art out of ordinary life.” He illustrates his preference for B/W photography with a quote from photojournalist Ted Grant, “When you photograph people in color, you photograph their clothes. But when you photograph people in Black and white, you photograph their souls!” His photos perfectly capture human nature in action.
