Pedro Szekely has been a big fan of photography since 2005, when he bought a Canon Rebel. He started out by purchasing books and magazines that helped him learn, while also spending time out in the field. Pedro lives and works in Los Angeles, about a mile from the coast, and whenever he sees a nice sunset he’ll head for the beach.

Greeley Panorama – Photo from Mars

NASA’s Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity took this panoramic full-circle scene of Mars combining 817 images during a stationary period of 4 months during the recent Martian winter. The photos were taken between December 21st, 2011 and May 8th, 2012 on a northward sloped outcrop, “Greeley Haven.”
