Seattle Dreams – Awesome Time-Lapses by F-Stop Seattle

F-Stop Seattle is a collaboration between James Whelan and Jake Magraw formed in 2014. Since their twenties, photography had been an important part of their lives, and after finishing school they quickly started working together in creative media. Already the collaboration has been very fruitful and F-Stop Seattle has produced some incredible work, especially their time-lapses. Here are three of their Seattle time-lapses, which show why their hometown is such an amazing place. (Watching at full screen is highly recommended.)

Seattle Dream
“Over the past three months (most of which was time waiting for good weather) I have traveled all around the greater Seattle area collecting time-lapse videos. Here is a short video containing some of my favorite clips!”

Seattle Dream Pt. II
“‘Seattle Dream Pt. II’ is our tribute to the city of Seattle and the state of Washington. While most people think of rain and coffee when they hear the name Seattle what they don’t realize is just how amazingly beautiful our city can be. Our film aims to do just that.

“With well over 50,000 photos and countless hours of shooting and editing invested into this project we had to narrow the 90+ separate time-lapses we took down to just 51 to complete this 5-minute piece. Some of the places we visited while working on this project include places like Kerry Park, Discovery Park, Alki Beach, and even our friends’ rooftops.”

Sounders FC Vs. Timbers
“Our time lapse of the Sounders FC and Timbers visualizes the physical and emotional changes that CenturyLink field undergoes on a rivalry game day match.”
