Street Photography by Christian Reister – Urban B’Sides

Berlin based photographer Christian Reister’s main interest is street photography. After working for one and a half years on ALEX, a photography project in Alexanderplatz Berlin, he is now working on his ongoing project URBAN B’SIDES again.

”Urban B’Sides is a collection of scenes in cities of the western world. At the time I focus mainly on Berlin. Berlin is still an endless resource for my photography and after living here for 13 years now it’s still exciting to just stroll around in the streets with no special target. There’s always something surprising happening. There’s no need to plan or stage anything which for me is the essence for the kind of photography I admire the most.”

Christian Reister is a member of neunplus and runs FENSTER61, a shop window exhibition place for monthly changing exhibitions of various photographers.
